Dartmouth Admits 1,685 Applicants to the Class of 2028

dartmouth logoDartmouth announced today that it accepted 1,685 applicants to the Class of 2028.  

Applications totaled 31,657 for the year, resulting in an overall acceptance rate of 5.3 percent.

Columbia Admits 2,319 Applicants to the Class of 2028

Columbia University announced it admitted 2,319 applicants to the Class of 2028.

2,319 applicants were admitted from a total pool of 60,248 applications for an overall admit rate of 3.8%.

Yale Admits 2,146 Applicants to the Class of 2028

yaleYale announced today that it admitted 2,146 applicants to the Class of 2028.

A total of 57,465 applications were received this year, resulting in a historic low overall admission rate of 3.9 percent.

Harvard Admits 3.59 Percent of Applicants to the Class of 2028

harvardHarvard announced it admitted 1,245 regular decision applicants and 692 early action applicants for a total of 1,937 students admitted to the Class of 2028.  

A total of 54,008 applications were received, down 5 percent from the previous yeart.

This list includes results from American University, Boston College, Boston University, Brown, Bucknell, Colorado College, Dartmouth, Duke, Emory, Fairfield, Florida State University (in-state), Fordham, Georgetown, Harvard, MIT, Northeastern (Boston Campus), Notre Dame, Rice, Santa Clara University, the University of Georgia, the University of Southern California, the University of Tennessee, the University of Virginia, Vanderbilt, Williams College, and Yale.

Brown Reinstates Standardized Testing Requirement for the Class of 2029

brown logoBrown announced this month that it will reinstate standardized testing requirements for most applicants beginning with the class of 2029.  

Exceptions will be permitted for some applicants where the IB or a national exam may be substituted, and the school will continue to be test-optional for student veterans, transfer applicants, and Resumed Undergraduate Education students

Yale Announces New Test-Flexible Admissions Policy

yaleYale announced today that it adopted a test-flexible policy for all first years and transfers applying for fall 2025 entry.

Applicants will have the option to submit either SAT, ACT, Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) scores.

Dartmouth Admits 606 Early Decision Applicants to the Class of 2028

Early decision applicants totaled 3,550, up 18 percent year over year, resulting in an acceptance rate of 17 percent.

Brown Admits 898 Early Decision Applicants to the Class of 2028

Early decision applications totaled 6,244 this year, down 8 percent and resulting in an early admission rate of 14 percent.

Harvard Admits 692 Early Applicants to Class of 2028

harvardHarvard announced today that it admitted 692 applicants to the Class of 2028 under restrictive early action.  

A total of 7,921 early applications were receive, resulting in an early admission rate of 8.74 percent, up over last year's rate of 7.56 percent.

Yale Accepts 9 Percent of Early Action Applicants to the Class of 2028

yaleYale announced today that it accepted 9.02 percent of applicants to the Class of 2028 under Single Choice Early Action.

At total of 709 acceptances were offered from a pool of 7,856 early action applicants.  20 percent of applicants were deferred, 70 percent were denied, and 1 percent were withdrawn or incomplete.
