University of Michigan to offer Early Decision for Class of 2030

The University of Michigan is enhancing its Fall 2026 application cycle by introducing a binding Early Decision (ED) option.  Students who apply ED by 11/1 will receive a decision b y the end of December.  U-M will also be retaining its existing Early Action and Regular Decision plans.  

Additionally U-M is launching two new first-year direct-admit programs: an integrated Business and Engineering dual-degree offered jointly by the College of Engineering and the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, and an Educator Preparation Program in the Marsal Family School of Education
